This guest post from Walter Horn
Summer is the perfect time to catch-up on your favorite shows on DirectTV. One such show is Burn Notice. It centers around Michael Weston, who is played by Jeffery Dovonan. He was an intellingence agent who got burned by his former employers. That means that he has no access to money and basically has no identity. He gets dumped in Miami, Florida and takes on odd security jobs to make money and tries to figure out exactly how he got burned. Michael gets help from an ex-girlfriend, played by Gabrielle Anwar. She is a former IRA operative and is an explosives expert. She assists Michael in his cases and is able to adapt to any situation. Another character on the show is Sam Axe. He is portrayed by Bruce Campbell. He is an ex-Navy SEAL and a retired intelligence operative. He loves spending time with older women in order to have a place to stay and food. He still has connections with the FBI. The last main character is his mother, Maddie, played by Sharon Gless. She is very family oriented and struggles with not knowing about her son’s past. Michael often uses her house to meet and make his explosives. The cases very week to week and Michael usually uses different accents and something will probably be blown up.
