Nigeria election affected by violence

Nigeria north east is now suffering from the opposition supporters violence by setting fire in homes. The fire was set fire by by the ruling parties who where holding the banners of the party during monday. Heavy gunfire was witnessed by across many towns as the election results where announced by the officials. The released results showed the incumbent of the christen and had gained the lead insurmountably.

In four states the results are still pending from the Saturday election however the tallies released. The commanding lead was being lead by President Goodluck Jonathan as per as the national television. Goodluck was lead by about 11 million votes in which only about six million was being left as per as the report. However the former military leader Muhammad Buhari was largely votes in the Muslim north as per as the results.

Some of the youths have been setting fires to the homes which had the party banners of Jonathan stated witness. Hundreds of youth were carrying wooden planks on the road and shouting Buhari in the local language. The releasing election results would be released later on monday in-spite of the ongoing violence happening in the country. Long since the election in Nigeria has started the state has been marred by violence but the presidential elections is peaceful.
