Blast in Church kills many people
On Sunday at least 28 people were killed in two blast which was very powerful mainly targeting the churches in Nigeria. During the Christmas services the targeted churches was in Nigeria and in spite of the attacks the services went on. In-spite of the attacks which was by the radical Islamic sect in Nigeria north the attack claimed 70 people. During the first blast about 27 were being killed and many more people were injured in the attack happened in Nigeria.
The first blast was in the St.Theresa church which is in Madalla near the capital of Abuja where many were killed. The incident was claimed responsibility by the Islamist group Boko Haram for the explosion and the death of people. The Islamist group Boko Haram claimed responsibility amid the gun battles which happened between the militants and the military in Nigeria. Just after the first blast the second blast rocked a church which is in the central city of Jos which killed about one person.
After the explosions it followed a slew of strikes by the militants who attacked many of the northern cities of Nigeria. The militants and the explosives had a lot of explosives and gunfire as soldiers and police went ahead in the pursuit. The chief of army staff General Azubuike Ihejirika stated the attack had started during Thursday by the Boko Haram sect. The Boko Haram group wants to impose the Sharia in the Nigeria region and in the days about 70 people are killed.
