Microsoft flying high for now
The world’s largest operating system software seller, Microsoft, has reported a healthy 28 percentage growth in sales of the Windows software in the June 2010 quarter over the same period last year. The company is expecting to post decent growth rates in the next few quarters, but it has it’s own set of owes.
The company has been unable to break the dominance of Google in the internet arena despite pumping in billions of dollars, and it is also not able to make any headway in the internet phone market. And slowly people are moving towards open source code based operating system softwares, thus reducing the need for Windows.
So things are indeed going little murky for Microsoft, and time only will tell how it will be overcoming that.
For the June 2010 quarter the company has posted a healthy six percentage growth in sales, and an impressive thirty five percentage growth in profits.
